Lauren & Nick's Engagement Session at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, CT

After trying to pick a good spot between here and New Jersey for a little while, Lauren and Nick and Hannah and I ended up meeting up at the Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, CT for their engagement session. We had been looking forward to this shoot for a while for a few reasons: Lauren and Nick are hilarious and sweet people who we knew we’d get along with great, and the wedding they’re throwing a bit later in the year has much in common with our own wedding back in 2016. We get (maybe too) excited about backyard weddings and the people that throw them, and just as expected upon meeting them at the park we all quickly realized just how well we got along with one another. The park was beautiful, the light just kept getting better, and we had a wonderful time goofing around like a bunch of little kids together.
