Kayla & Gus' Engagement Session in Midtown Manhattan

We’ve been thinking about getting around to posting some work from all the engagement sessions we’ve shot this year, and we figured where better to start than last week with Kayla and Gus? These two are east coast natives living out in Oregon currently and Kayla is actually also an incredibly talented elopement photographer out there, so getting to meet and photograph them in a totally new to all of us part of NYC was both an honor and a treat. We started in their incredibly cool city-view hotel room at the Arlo NoMad and eventually made our way to street level to take in the sight of the nearby Empire State and Flatiron Building and walk around a bit. In what started as a work trip and ended as a genuinely fun few nights in the city we were so happy to get to make some photos with these two lovely humans and are real excited to photograph their elopement on the east coast next year.
