Meredith & Dave's Farmhouse Wedding at Farm Road Estate in West Dover, VT

Meredith and Dave’s wedding was unique for a bunch of reasons, but the biggest one to us was their group of friends. For us, our friends are family, and we immediately got the impression that Meredith and Dave felt the same way about theirs. It was clear that the people they chose to surround them on their wedding day had been in their lives for a long time. The inside jokes, the calls and responses, the coordinated dancing at the end of the night all told the story of a group of folks that had put serious time and effort into their relationships, and it was beautiful to witness. Meredith and Dave’s families were similarly cheery and it was obvious where they got their senses of humor from. Working with a group as lighthearted, jovial, and downright silly as this was a joy, and we found ourselves grinning ear to ear for most of the day. Their laughter and specific brand of goofiness was so much fun to be around and before we knew it the day was over. After a lovely pond side ceremony officiated by Meredith’s uncle Patrick, a cocktail hour under string lights serenaded by classical guitar, and a beautifully decorated candlelit dinner, we left feeling genuinely happy for them. Not just “they did it!” happy, but “they are perfect for each other” happy, and we felt honored to document the day.
