Rob & Eva at Sachuest Point, Middletown RI
Likely one of the most exciting weddings we’ll photograph in our careers is coming up this July in Averbode, Belgium between our two dear friends Rob & Eva. Through a shared history of school, music, and photography we’ve kept in touch since our years at RIT, and when Rob and Eva started dating back in 2015 we knew we’d eventually get to this point. Now living in Georgia, they’ve been trying to fit a visit to Providence into their super busy schedules (planning a wedding is busy, busy work!) for some time and finally made it up here at the end of March to go over wedding details, get a lay of the land we now call home, and catch up! We had a grand time packing in literally as many activities we possibly could while they were here including lovely coastal sight-seeing, amazing Thai food on the east side of town, and of course a little photo taking.
We’re extremely grateful to know these two; both thoughtful and talented photographers, Rob and Eva are sort of an artistic power-couple which makes photographing their wedding an even more exciting prospect than usual. It’s a rare treat to work with friends and we’re still sort of working on accepting the fact that we’ll be traveling to Belgium with them to see them tie the knot! Rob was one of Andy’s best men at our wedding and we’ve both grown to love Eva for the gentle, kind, caring, and genuinely hilarious person she is, and seeing them get married will truly be a test of our ability to not cry all over our cameras.
